Metisha has been overwhelmed with all of the support you have given her through flowers, text messages, Facebook and cards! She has no doubts of how much she is loved and cherished. Please know how much she appreciates the support and if she does not respond, it is because she is flooded with messages and her vision is now being affected making it hard to read and respond to everything. But know we are reading all of your words of love and encouragement to her. The house is looking like a flower shop and Metisha loves every single flower. She is very sorry she cannot give so many of you hugs but she does not have any energy for visitors now. She is sleeping more and more and needs to spend her few waking hours left with Mark, her parents, siblings and niece.
We know how hard it is to feel like there is nothing you can do. But please know your prayers are exactly what we need. And we do not take likely how Metisha’s journey has touched your lives how the end if affecting you. We know you are sharing in our tears. But we must all remember that while we will forever miss our Super Hero, a reward beyond comprehension awaits her. One of our youngest prayer warriors said it best yesterday: Jesus just wants to play with Tisha now … He cannot wait any longer. So much wisdom from a 3 year old.

Tish, we love you so very much and know that God is right beside you and your sweet family. You are such a blessing to all of us and even though we aren't right there with you, we are sending hugs, thoughts, and many prayers your way. Love you guys so much.
Tish you are one of the most amazing people I have ever had the privilege of knowing. We have been so blesed to have u in our family. I will cherish forever the memory of being able to be with u and Mark when u got married in Jamaica. It was a blast. Especially my new found love of Rock Steady's. Ur dad always reminds me of just how much I loved those. My kids always talk about the time at christmas when u hung out in the back room playing games with the kids. U have fought a long battle and I think you are a strong beautiful person.

You have amazed and inspired me with your courage, grace, dignity, and strength. Your smile lights up rooms and your laugh is a joy. If it is time for you to let God walk you home, know this: you have left each of us a better person for having known you. I was a privileged recipient of one of your hugs not too long ago, and the strength I got from it has stayed with me. Thank you for allowing me to be a very small part of your life. Love you.

You are so amazing....I love seeing pics of you in school and on your vacation in Mexico....How lucky you are when you go with God and can be pain free....what a fight you put up....you played basketball like that....you always have us all smiling....now it is time for you to have your own time with your wonderful husband and family....we love you.......
Please know that we are praying for you and your family. You are a wonderful testimony. I'm sorry we haven't gotten to see you since Bryce's wedding.
